Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Tbilisi
Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport. Transfer to boutique hotel in Old Town. Afternoon walking tour of Tbilisi — Narikala Fortress, sulfur baths district, Abanotubani, and the Bridge of Peace. Welcome dinner with Georgian wines.
Day 2: Tbilisi & Mtskheta
Morning visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Day trip to ancient capital Mtskheta — Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (UNESCO). Return for free time in Tbilisi. Optional cooking class.
Day 3: Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi
Drive the spectacular Georgian Military Highway through the Caucasus mountains. Stop at Ananuri Fortress and the ski resort town of Gudauri. Arrive in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). 4×4 ride to Gergeti Trinity Church with Mount Kazbek backdrop.
Day 4: Kakheti Wine Region
Drive to the Kakheti wine region. Visit the walled town of Sighnaghi — “City of Love.” Traditional wine tasting at a family-run winery. Georgian feast (supra) with traditional toasts and polyphonic singing.
Day 5: Departure
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping in Tbilisi’s Dry Bridge Market. Transfer to airport. Departure.
